Christopher A's Story
Well hello everyone long time since I seen any one back in Terre Haute. I've been gone for approx. 24 years seeing different parts of the world being a Marine. I done very well for myself I have a two beautiful children and a very beauitful wife for 19 years. I'm currently living in Hawaii and I've been here off and on since 1999. I just recently retired from the marine Corps and while I was on my terminal leave I accepted a new position back on active duty as a Family Readiness Officer for the Battalion. e while the battalion deploys and I care for the families. Ensuring they are taking care of while the Marines are deployed, taking care of any issues that may need attention form the Marine Corps. This task could be from housing issues to pay, basically anything that is Family related. It is a very reward job know I'm making a difference while the Marines are gone. I've don e my share of tours in Iraq and I'm very glad I'm not going back for the third time. Well that is what I've been up to for the last 24 years and I don't plan on coming back.
